Berix Holdings LLC ("Berix," "we," "our," or "us") is a California limited liability company that develops AI-native platforms, mobile applications, and enterprise solutions. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information across all Berix products and services. Individual applications may have supplemental privacy terms that address app-specific data practices.

01 Scope & Application

This Privacy Policy applies to all products, services, websites, and applications operated by Berix Holdings LLC, including but not limited to our mobile applications, web platforms, APIs, and consulting services. When you use any Berix product, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy and any applicable app-specific supplement.

02 Information We Collect

Depending on the product you use, we may collect the following categories of information:

Information You Provide:

  • Account data — email address, name, and profile information when you create an account
  • User content — text, files, images, or other content you submit through our products
  • Communications — messages you send to us for support or feedback
  • Payment information — processed by third-party payment providers (Apple App Store, Stripe); we do not directly store payment card details

Information Collected Automatically:

  • Device information — device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and app version
  • Usage data — features accessed, session duration, interactions, and performance metrics
  • Location data — only when you explicitly grant permission for location-dependent features; we collect only the precision necessary for the feature
  • Log data — IP address, access times, and referring URLs when you interact with our services

03 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery — to provide, operate, and maintain our products and features
  • Personalization — to customize your experience based on your preferences and usage patterns

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We never will.

  • Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
  • Protection of rights — to enforce our terms, protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and that of our users
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice provided to affected users

05 AI & Machine Learning

Many of our products incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities. When you interact with AI-powered features:

  • Your inputs are processed by AI models to generate responses and provide functionality
  • We may use anonymized and aggregated interaction data to improve model performance and accuracy
  • We work with third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) who process data according to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements
  • We do not use your personal data to train AI models without your explicit consent

06 Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, regular security reviews, and secure development practices. While no system is completely secure, we are committed to protecting your data and promptly addressing any security incidents.

07 Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your personal data

  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

09 Children's Privacy

Our products are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. Some of our applications include family-oriented features designed to be used under parental supervision; see the relevant app-specific supplement for details.

10 International Data Transfers

Berix Holdings LLC is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

11 App-Specific Policies

Each Berix product may have additional privacy terms that describe data practices specific to that application. These supplements are part of this Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.

12 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, providing notice through our products or by email. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
